By downloading, installing, or using the QR Code Scanner - Home Apps application (the "Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Application.
1. License Grant
We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Application strictly for your personal, non-commercial purposes strictly in accordance with these Terms.
2. Core Functionality & Device Integration
This Application functions as both a custom home screen replacement (Launcher) and a utility scanning tool. By utilizing the Application, you acknowledge and authorize the following core integrations:
Default Launcher: Setting the Application as your default home screen will alter your device's primary navigation interface, desktop layout, and application drawer.
System Overlays & Widgets: The Application utilizes system alert windows to draw interface elements over other backgrounds and binds to application widgets to customize your desktop experience.
Application Management: The Application requires access to your installed package inventory to populate the app drawer. You may initiate the uninstallation of third-party applications directly through our customized desktop interface.
Status Monitoring: The Application processes local phone state alerts and notifications to accurately display missed call badges and active alert indicators on your customized desktop.
3. Restrictions on Use
You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:
Copy, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, or modify the Application.
Use the scanning utility to knowingly generate, distribute, or access malicious links, malware, or unauthorized networks.
Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice (including notices of copyright or trademark) belonging to us or our affiliates, partners, or suppliers.
Interfere with the operational framework of the launcher or attempt to bypass security measures implemented within the local database architecture.
4. Third-Party Links & Scanner Liability
The QR and barcode scanning features allow you to decode physical matrices that may direct your device to third-party web addresses, wireless networks, or external service providers.
We do not control, endorse, or verify the safety of any third-party links or networks you scan.
You assume full responsibility and all associated risks when opening decoded URLs, downloading external files, or connecting to WiFi networks via the scanner. We accept no liability for device compromise, data theft, or hardware malfunctions resulting from external codes you choose to process.
5. Advertising and Analytics
The Application is provided free of charge and relies on integrated third-party advertising and analytics frameworks (including Google AdMob and Firebase) to sustain operations.
By using the Application, you consent to the display of promotional banners, native advertisements, and contextual interstitial ads within the designated interface modules.
The Application collects anonymous usage metrics, crash diagnostics, and device advertising identifiers to optimize performance and deliver localized advertising.
6. Intellectual Property
The Application, including all original interface designs, custom graphics, source code, and integrated ML Kit implementations, remains our exclusive intellectual property. This agreement does not grant you any rights to our trademarks or service marks.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," with all faults and defects, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Application will operate without interruption, meet your specific requirements, or be completely free of errors or system crashes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, device failure, or business interruption) arising out of or in any way related to your use of or inability to use the Application, its home screen configurations, or its scanning utilities.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your license to use the Application at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice or liability. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and delete all copies from your mobile device.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Application following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
