Terms of Use (End-User License Agreement)

By downloading or using the QR Code & Barcode Scanner app, these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.


1. License Grant

Smart Media Tool grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the application strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.


2. Restrictions on Use

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:


Copy, modify, transmit, create derivative works of, or reverse engineer any part of the app.


Extract the source code of the app or translate the app into other languages.


Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including scanning malicious codes with the intent to harm devices or networks.


Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice (including any notice of copyright or trademark) of Smart Media Tool or its affiliates, partners, or suppliers.


3. Intellectual Property

The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, belong to Smart Media Tool.


4. Third-Party Links and Ads

The app contains links to third-party websites or services (via scanned QR codes or via served advertisements) that are not owned or controlled by Smart Media Tool. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services.


5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. Smart Media Tool strongly recommends that you exercise caution when opening links or connecting to networks from scanned, unknown QR codes. We are not responsible for any damage to your device or loss of data that results from scanning malicious codes.


6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.


7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
